Even though the JetFlash v70was announced in August, 2009, it is still topical thanks to its capacities — from 2 to 32 GB — and its performances which remain good.

This key is available in various colours : 2 GB in green, 4 GB in violet, 8 GB in orange, 16 GB in red and 32 GB in blue. But the constructive put also forward the rubber-skin. This last reinforces the whole olidity of the key, much more credible than other keys’ ones. One regret : no diode so as to witness the key’s activity, i.e. when the data is transferring between the key and the computer.

Let’s talk about the software, JetFlash Elite, which is not provided in the beginning (why ?) and thus has to be downloaded here (only for PC), which does not need any installation and complies directly from the key.
It includes several very useful functions such as the automatic data backup, the password data protection, the erasement of your browsing once the key unplugged, the synchronisation of your favorite webpages…
Eventually, very  smart function via this software : this last enables you to lock your computer while your key is not back on your USB port.
Explanation : once the program started from your USB key, you may choose the number of hours (between 0.5 and 168 hours) when your PC will be locked, than click on the « Lock » function. this one enables you to make your PC impossible to use once the key unplugged (displaying pictures of your choice as a screensaver).
Even when rebooting your PC, if the key is not connected, the Pc will be locked. Replug the key for your PC to unlock immediately.

The software is not initially provided, but it is worthy enough for me to pick the « provided softwares » case.
